Friday means school, and school means end of the week. And I have a feeling that this perticular weekend will be extra nice since my very good friend Jenny has come to visit me from Essex where she works as an au-pair. Haven’t seen her since december so we have a lot of catching up to do. Friendly Friday today, and a wonderful weekend to look forward too!
Focus on the camera
My first week at Altofilms is soon over, and I it’s been really great! Alex and Toni have been focusing on teaching me how to use the camera, a Sony HVR Z7E. A rather small and simple camera according to them, but for me – a die hard Handy cam user – it seemed HUGE and a little intimidating with all those buttons at first.
However, Alex assured me that all video cameras more or less have the same features – a bigger camera just makes it easier to handle them. When you understand the basics it’s easy. It’s like learning how to drive a car; at first it can seem impossible to maneuver the gear and the clutch, but as soon as you get the hang of it, it becomes second nature.
So, BEEP BEEP, here we go!

First post as a film intern
And I said that I would never start a blog….
Yet here I am, typing away on my computer, honestly pretty excited about my first post as an intern at the company Alto Films in Brighton, England.
I am “Brightonfilmintern”, a 19 year old girl from Sweden, with a dream of learning more about film and the process of filmmaking. Follow me and my adventures with Toni and Alex from Alto Films, as that dream is about to come true.
